Job Purpose:
To plan, co-ordinate, manage and report upon the work activities of the team providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training and development. To work in conjunction with the Managers to monitor, develop and allocate work to a group of subordinates in specific areas.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the operation
- Meet and exceed operational service levels and manage the cost of labor
- Drive and develop team culture
- Quality Control
- Delivery of Key Performance Indicators
- Compliance with statutory and Company Policies and Procedures
- HR Issues - Managing Industrial Relations
- Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, with focus on Enzyme handling
- Active participation in stock counts i.e., Planning, Preparation and Physical counting of stock
- Team Building and Morale Management
- Delivery of safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment for Team Members
- Maximize accuracy, productivity, space utilization and advise on continuous improvement
- Translate, analyze and deliver customer needs through effective operations, buying into Customer driven improvement programmes
- Ensure daily and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished, without downtime
- Effective Leadership and Management of the operational and administrative teams
- Maintain appropriate information / reporting systems to monitor the operational performance on an ongoing basis
- Matric / Grade 12 - Essential
- Qualification in Supply Chain and or Logistics would be advantageous
- 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
- Advance SAP knowledge
